Privacy Policy for Deep Flow

Last updated: 22nd August, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Deep Flow (“Deep Flow”, “we”, “our”, or “the app”) handles information when you use the Deep Flow application.

Deep Flow is designed with privacy in mind. Your focus data is stored locally on your device and does not require an account or cloud storage.

By using Deep Flow, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

Personal Information

Deep Flow does not require you to create an account, provide your name, email address, phone number, or other personal information in order to use the app.

We do not intentionally collect personally identifiable information through the app.

Focus and App Data

Deep Flow may store information locally on your device to provide its features, including:

  • Focus session durations
  • Break durations
  • Session dates and times
  • Selected focus modes
  • Tags associated with sessions
  • App settings and preferences
  • Custom focus and break durations
  • Soundscape and audio preferences
  • Focus history and locally generated analytics
  • Other information necessary to operate features of the app

This information is stored locally on your device.

2. How We Use Your Information

The information stored by Deep Flow is used to provide the functionality of the app, including:

  • Running focus and break sessions
  • Maintaining your focus history
  • Displaying productivity statistics and analytics
  • Remembering your preferences and customizations
  • Providing soundscape and timer functionality
  • Generating reports or exports that you explicitly request
  • Improving your experience within the app

Your locally stored focus information is not used to build an advertising profile about you.

3. Your Data Stays on Your Device

Deep Flow is designed around a local-first privacy model.

Your focus history and app data are stored on your device rather than requiring an online account or cloud database.

We do not sell, rent, or otherwise trade your focus history or personal information.

Because your focus history is designed to remain on your device, uninstalling the app, clearing its data, or otherwise removing the app’s local storage may permanently remove that information.

4. No Account Required

Deep Flow does not require an account to use its core functionality.

You can use the focus timer, customize sessions, view your history, and use supported analytics features without registering for an online account.

We do not require you to provide personal information simply to use Deep Flow.

5. Data Sharing

Deep Flow does not intentionally share your locally stored focus history with third parties.

Your focus data is not sold or rented to advertisers, data brokers, or other companies.

If you choose to export information from the app, such as a CSV or PDF report, that export is created at your request and is controlled by you. Once exported, the information may be accessible to other applications or services that you choose to share the file with.

6. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to design Deep Flow so that your focus information remains under your control.

Because the app is designed to store focus information locally, the security of that information also depends on the security of your device, operating system, device lock, backups, and any other applications or services with access to your device.

We recommend keeping your device updated and protected with an appropriate screen lock or other security mechanism.

7. Data Deletion

You can delete your locally stored focus history through the deletion controls provided within Deep Flow, where available.

Once local data has been deleted, it may not be recoverable.

You can also remove locally stored app data by uninstalling the application or using your device’s application-data controls, depending on your operating system.

8. Data Exports

Deep Flow may provide features that allow you to export your focus history or analytics, such as CSV or PDF reports.

These exports are generated locally or initiated by you through the app.

Once you export a file, that file is under your control. If you send or upload an exported file to another person, application, website, cloud-storage provider, or other service, that service’s privacy policy will apply to the information you share with it.

9. Third-Party Services

Deep Flow uses Google AdMob to display advertisements within the app.

AdMob may collect and process certain information from your device, including advertising identifiers, device information, IP address, approximate location, and information about your interaction with advertisements. The information collected and processed by Google is subject to Google’s applicable privacy policies and terms.

For more information about how Google handles information in connection with advertising, please see:

Deep Flow does not use Firebase, Google Analytics, or other third-party analytics or crash-reporting services.

10. Children’s Privacy

Deep Flow is not specifically designed for children under the age of 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app.

If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so that we can determine whether any action is necessary.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to Deep Flow, its features, or applicable requirements.

When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.

We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
