Thank you for using Prompt Tile (“the App”). Your privacy is important. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and your choices regarding your data.
1. Information We Collect
Prompt Tile is designed with privacy in mind.
The App does not require you to create an account and does not collect your prompt library on our servers.
Information stored locally
The App stores the following information only on your device:
- Saved prompts
- Categories
- Favorites
- App preferences
- Prompt usage statistics
- Temporary Pro Pass information
This information remains on your device unless you choose to export it.
2. Clipboard Access
Prompt Tile supports a special variable called [Clipboard].
The clipboard is accessed only when you intentionally use a prompt that contains the [Clipboard] variable.
The App does not continuously monitor, collect, or upload clipboard contents.
Clipboard data is used only to generate the prompt you requested.
3. Backup and Restore
Prompt Tile allows you to export your prompts as a JSON file and import them later.
These files are:
- created only when you request an export
- stored wherever you choose using Android’s file picker
- never uploaded by the App
You are responsible for keeping exported backup files secure.
4. Advertising
The free version of Prompt Tile displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob.
Google may collect certain information to provide and improve advertising services, including:
- Device information
- Advertising identifiers
- Approximate location (where permitted)
- Ad interaction information
This information is collected by Google according to Google’s own Privacy Policy.
Prompt Tile does not receive or store this advertising data.
5. Google Play Services
Prompt Tile uses Google Play services including:
- Google Play In-App Review
- Google Mobile Ads (AdMob)
These services may collect information as described in Google’s Privacy Policy.
6. Permissions
Prompt Tile requests only the permissions necessary to provide its features.
Depending on your Android version, these may include:
- Internet access (for advertisements and Google Play services)
- Network state (to determine ad availability)
When importing or exporting prompts, the App uses Android’s built-in Storage Access Framework instead of requesting broad storage permissions.
7. Data Sharing
Prompt Tile does not sell, rent, or share your personal prompt library with third parties.
Prompt content is never transmitted to our servers.
Third-party services such as Google AdMob and Google Play Services may process limited technical information necessary to provide their services.
8. Data Security
Prompt Tile stores your data locally on your device.
While reasonable measures are taken to protect your information, no method of electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
9. Children’s Privacy
Prompt Tile is not specifically directed toward children under the age of 13.
The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time.
Any changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
