Overview
QR Toolbox is designed with privacy in mind. The app works primarily offline, and your QR code data is processed locally on your device.
We do not require you to create an account or sign in to use the app.
Information We Collect
Information You Enter
The App processes information that you voluntarily enter, such as:
- Text
- URLs
- Wi-Fi credentials
- Contact information
- Product or inventory data
- CSV files imported into the app
This information is processed only on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.
Files You Select
If you choose to:
- Import a CSV file
- Select a logo image for QR branding
- Export QR codes as PNG or ZIP files
the App accesses only the files you explicitly select. These files remain on your device unless you choose to share them.
Information We Do Not Collect
QR Toolbox does not collect or store:
- Personal information
- Names
- Email addresses
- Phone numbers
- Passwords
- Location information
- Contacts
- Photos (except images you explicitly choose for QR branding)
- QR code content on external servers
We do not operate any cloud service that stores your QR codes or imported data.
Advertising
The free version of QR Toolbox displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob.
Google and its partners may collect certain information such as:
- Advertising ID
- Device information
- App interaction data
This information is collected by Google in accordance with its own privacy policies and may be used to provide personalized or non-personalized advertisements, depending on your device settings and applicable laws.

In-App Purchases
QR Toolbox offers optional in-app purchases through Google Play Billing to unlock premium features.
All payment transactions are securely processed by Google Play. We do not receive or store your payment information.

Permissions
QR Toolbox requests only the permissions necessary for its functionality.
These may include:
- Photos and Videos / Media Access – to allow you to choose a logo image.
- Files and Documents Access – to import CSV files and export generated QR codes.
The App does not access files or media without your action.
Data Storage
Generated QR codes, imported CSV files, and selected branding assets are stored locally on your device.
You are responsible for managing or deleting these files.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties.
The only third-party services used are:
- Google AdMob (advertising)
- Google Play Billing (in-app purchases)
These services operate under their own privacy policies.
Children’s Privacy
QR Toolbox is not specifically directed toward children under the age of 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so appropriate action can be taken.
Security
Because your QR data is processed locally on your device, your information is not stored on our servers.
While we strive to provide a secure application, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.
